Happy 250th Birthday, US Army! From the founding of the US Army on June 14th, 1775, the dedication to service and excellence in performance has distinguished the millions of Army soldiers for the last 250 years!
From the battles of Bunker Hill (3 days after forming the Army), crossing the Delaware River with George Washington to attack Trenton, Saratoga, Cowpens, and Yorktown, our Colonists defeated the strongest army in the world.
In World War I and World War II, the US Army distinguished itself in battle after battle to include Normandy, Sicily, Battle of the Bulge, Okinawa and so many others.
The Army fought North Korea and China in the Korean War to include Heartbreak Ridge, and others.
The battles of Ia Drang, Hamburger Hill and many others contributed to the history of the Army.
The Gulf War, Afghanistan, and the Iraq War saw many soldiers in harm’s way and winning the day!
